Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, document and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications using Laravel Framework
- Work with MySQL database and server-side applications
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Ensure the appropriate security standards have been implemented.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with
- technical and process issues
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinate with the project manager and communicate the status of development efforts.
- Identify and fix bugs.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
- Experience with Wordpress, Drupal, Shopify will be an advantage.
Qualifications/Experience
- At least 2-5 years of hands-on commercial development experience
- High level of knowledge of PHP/Laravel framework
- Solid understanding of the MVC architecture
Desired Skills
- Understanding of Systems Design, Development and Implementation.
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
- Hands on experience with REST API design
- Software testing
- Good interpersonal skills
- The ability to problem-solve and critically think & work independently.
- Knowledge of web interface framework languages (Bootstrap.) will be an advantage.
- Experience with Wordpress, Drupal, Shopify will be an advantage.
