Senior Audit Managers - Audit & Assurance
Overview
The Senior Audit Manager will be a senior member of the Audit Division. The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for servicing clients, planning and directing assurance services, managing the engagement team and supporting the Partners in business development and practice management.
Responsibilities
- Effectively lead engagement teams in the planning and execution of Audit and Review Engagements
- Plan, scope and direct complex client assignments/projects, determining assignment costs, resources and fees for Partner approval
- Ensuring all regulatory requirements are implemented and complied with both internally and on client engagements
- Develop and maintain client relationships at the highest level
- Lead and develop less experienced staff through coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer and assigning challenging work opportunities
- Responsible for providing feedback and completing performance reviews of subordinates.
Qualification
- An associate/ Fellow member of Institute of the Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka
- 5-8 years of experience in the field of Audit and Assurance at a reputed international accounting firm, which should include 1-2 years of experience in the capacity of a Manager
- Thorough knowledge of SLFRS/IFRS and Sri Lanka Auditing Standards (SLAuS)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls
- Significant presentation and business writing experience
- Experience of motivating and developing teams
- The ability to work under own initiative and in many different and stimulating environments
- A keen sense of business acumen by seeking new clients and developing business relationships within the community
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in performing and reviewing audit engagements using audit software tools
