POST OF TEMPORARY LECTURER
Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified persons for the above post.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in SOCIAL WORK/SOCIOLOGY with a First- or Second-Class division by a recognized university.
OR
- An Honours Degree in any Field of Social Science disciplines with postgraduate qualifications in SOCIAL WORK/SOCIOLOGY/YOUTH STUDIES.
Note:
- Ability to teach, develop lesson materials in English language.
- Selected candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who are familiar with Open Distance Learning (ODL) and IT.
- Selected person should be available full time at the Colombo Regional Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
Duration of the appointment
- Appointments will be made initially for six months and extendable up to two years based on performance.
Remuneration:
- Fixed monthly allowance of Rs. Rs. 49,860/= (inclusive of COL allowance) and will be entitled for EPF and ETF.
