General Manager
We are a creative company that represents a New Zealand-based brand with an office in Sri Lanka. We are looking for a General Manager to lead our team and manage multiple departments within our organization. Our company is growing rapidly, and we need someone with excellent communication skills, who is approachable, and can get things done in a timely manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple teams within the organization. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage projects to a high level of quality. You will work closely with the NZ CEO, ensuring that our goals are being met and exceeded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead a strong management team in Sri Lanka, providing mentorship and guidance to help them become better leaders.
- Ensure that all team members have clear communication channels and that everyone is working towards the same goals.
- Manage and oversee multiple departments within the organisation.
- Foster a positive work environment and culture.
- Communicate effectively with the executive team and report on progress regularly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all team members are aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Work with other departments to ensure that all projects are integrated seamlessly.
- Manage multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to a high level of quality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
