Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing academic policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
- Overseeing the delivery of courses, ensuring that the curriculum is being delivered effectively and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Managing the examination process, including setting exam schedules, preparing exam papers, and ensuring that examinations are conducted fairly and accurately.
- Monitoring the academic performance of students and ensuring that appropriate interventions are put in place to support students.
Requirements
- A minimum of MSc in Software Engineering or a related field (MPhil preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role in academia, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrative staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with accreditation requirements and experience maintaining quality assurance and experience in auditing processes is a plus.
