Job Summary:
As a Assistant Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and adhering to sustainability standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Profile:
- Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of chemical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards in product quality. Promote a culture of safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards in chemical processes and equipment.
- Ensure that all chemical processes and products comply with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
- Lead and participate in process improvement projects, from concept to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Collect and analyze data related to chemical processes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including process manuals, equipment manuals, and engineering drawings.
Person Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical and process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS), familiarity with chemical process control systems, and strong knowledge of process safety.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex process challenges.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus.
- A genuine passion for chemical engineering and a desire to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
