JOB ROLE
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives.
- Analyze customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Being able to do a cost sheet.
- Negotiate the costs given by factories to be able to quote the best competitive prices to our buyers.
- Closely monitor key activities in the customer calendar and plan subsequent activities with internal teams to meet customer expectations by the required delivery dates.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of order management by implementing a time and action plan for all related activities and sharing information with relevant stakeholders.
- Build constructive customer relationship and supplier relationships.
- Be prepared to perform additional duties commensurate with your current role as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Should have an educational background.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- A degree or professional qualification in marketing or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity with sound knowledge of ERP systems.
