CHEF DE CUISINE - STEAKHOUSE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Cuisine - Steakhouse to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. You will report to the Executive Sous Chef, Steakhouse, your role demands an exceptional command of steakhouse cuisine, coupled with a unique flair for creativity and innovation. You will lead a dynamic team in curating an unparalleled dining experience, from the sizzle of prime cuts to the artful presentation that transcends mere meals to become moments of culinary excellence. Through your expertise and passion, you will weave a narrative of gastronomic mastery, where each dish is a symphony of flavour and every dining experience unfolds as an unforgettable journey.

You will curate and refine the steakhouse menu, infusing creativity while carefully considering customer preferences. This role entails overseeing all facets of kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent execution of high-quality dishes, with a particular emphasis on the art of steak preparation. Your responsibilities will extend to providing guidance and training, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. This role requires meticulous quality control measures, involving regular inspections of ingredients and dishes to uphold the steakhouse's stringent standards. The central focus of this position will be on efficient inventory management and cost control, whilst ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and safety regulations. Moreover, you will actively engage with our guests, including VIP patrons, to gather feedback and enhance the overall dining experience. With a keen eye for innovation, you will play a pivotal role in introducing new culinary elements, ensuring that the steakhouse remains at the forefront of the latest culinary trends.
