SOUS CHEF COMMISSARY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef Commissary to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, Commissary, you will assume a pivotal role in shaping exceptional dining experiences, contributing your expertise to menu development, and pushing the boundaries of culinary creativity. Fueled by your passion for crafting culinary masterpieces and your unwavering drive to deliver unparalleled gastronomic experiences, you will redefine the art of dining at Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort.

You will assume the responsibility of maintaining an exceptional standard of food quality, meticulously adhering to culinary standards set by the Hotel. Your role plays a crucial part in menu development and innovation, ensuring seamless alignment of offerings with concept briefs and recipes. As a leader, your hands-on and passionate approach will set the example, fostering a culture of innovative thinking and pushing the boundaries of culinary creativity, all while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards. You will prepare budgets, forecasts and capital expenditures, analyzing revenue trends, and implementing corrective measures to ensure financial success. Prioritizing exceptional personal guest interaction, you will actively seek feedback, promptly address concerns and meet with VIP guests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. Upholding the utmost standards of professionalism and ethics, you will significantly contribute to delivering unparalleled culinary experiences within our luxuy hotel setting, collaborating seamlessly with the culinary team.
