GENERAL MANAGER, RESTAURANT JAPANESE
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager, Restaurant Japanese to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, your leadership will be instrumental as you guide and oversee the day-to-day operations of our extraordinary and unique authentic Japanese restaurant. Situated within the enchanting Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, this culinary masterpiece is committed to providing an exceptional experience, presenting genuinely authentic Japanese cuisine in an unparalleled setting. Your responsibilities go beyond managing daily operations; they encompass shaping the overall success of our culinary venture. Your expertise in Japanese cuisine, coupled with your adept leadership skills, will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of an unforgettable dining experience for our esteemed guests.
Your multifaceted role involves overseeing daily operations, managing and inspiring a dedicated team, and ensuring unparalleled customer service. Your cultural sensitivity is paramount as you foster an authentic environment that respects and reflects Japanese culinary traditions. Collaborating closely with chefs, you will play a key role in the development and periodic refinement of the Japanese menu, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, all while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. With your financial acumen, you will manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and implement strategies to optimize profitability. In addition to cultivating a culture of exceptional customer service, you will promptly address customer concerns, guaranteeing a positive and memorable dining experience. Collaborating closely with the hotel's marketing team, you will craft promotional strategies and execute events to attract and retain patrons. As a leader, you will train and guide your team, instilling in them a steadfast commitment to excellence.
