Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Job Role 
  • Responsible to be the custodian of all installation, servicing, and repairing of equipment whilst carrying out frequent inspections and periodic audits on equipment and maintenance 
  • Assisting the function to develop and review maintenance manuals and SOPs to ensure divisional compliance and smooth running of operations at all times
  • Assisting the function to raise budget forecasts whilst maintaining records pertaining to prevailing budget versus utilization
  • Investigate and maintain equipment life records and logs in order to provide insights to management on procuring new equipment or providing replacements 
  • Responsible to visit any location for maintenance-related matters and provide necessary solutions whilst being reachable at any time (24 X 7) to attend critical business calls and emergency situations

Candidate Profile 
  • Degree or any professional qualification in Business Administration / Facility Management/Engineering/similar discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in maintenance 
  • Sound knowledge of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, machines and equipment 
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills in both Sinhala and English 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Package 
  • Enthusiastic, self-driven, and possess the ability to perform under minimum supervision
