We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue by identifying new business opportunities and managing relationships with corporate clients. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets. In this role, you will be additionally exposed to all aspects ofthe business, such as finance, operations, supply chain/imports & marketing, giving you an overall understanding of operating a commercial venture.   • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the corporate branding, signage & graphics products industry.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calls, email campaigns, and online marketing to expand the customer base.
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, with a focus on acquiring new clients and building strong, long-term relationships. Drive product specification where applicable, with key brand owners.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of Avery Dennison Graphics products to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value to potential clients.
  • Solution Selling: Tailor product offerings to address client needs and provide custom solutions, demonstrating how Avery Dennison products can meet their specific requirements. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to key decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with a strong focus on growth and market share.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with existing & newclients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors and market dynamics to stay informed about industry changes, emerging trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with clients to secure business deals and close sales effectively.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prepare regular reports, and analyze performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Client Education: Provide training and support to clients on product usage, installation, and maintenance, if necessary.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network, generate leads, and promote the company's brand and products.
  • Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and business development plans to ensure consistent and sustainable growth.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies, including pricing, branding, and customer relationship management guidelines.
  • Marketing: Assist the management in developing and execution of the marketing plan. Assist the management in developing and rolling out the company’s digital marketing plan. 
  • Supply Chain: Monitoring inventory levels and assisting the management in the demand planning process. Assist management in the setup, execution and monitoring of logistics and distribution activities. 
  • Accounts Receivable: Responsible for monitoring, following up and collection of accounts receivable. 

  • Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in corporate sales.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Females are encouraged to apply.
  • Academic or Professional qualification in business, marketing, or a related field, from a reputed institution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software, sales tools & MS Office applications
  • Knowledge and experience in developing digital marketing strategies and tools will be a definitive added advantage.
