Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Preference for candidates with NVQ Level 5 (or more) certification.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints.
- Competency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Skillful operation of test meters and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in power-related issues.
- A/L or equivalent education required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and possession of a valid electrician's license preferred.
What we expect from you
- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Lay conduits and pipes for electrical wires and cables.
- Ensure compliance of piping with electrical codes.
- Mount circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them.
- Establish connections between electrical systems and power lines to supply electricity to the building.
- Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify necessary repairs.
- Replace conduit and wiring as necessary.
- Replace circuit breakers when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
- Proficient in maintaining and servicing large capacity power generators
