We are a dynamic and innovative group business engaged in the Export and Furnishing industries and are looking for a skilled Web and Social Media Content Creator/Marketer at our office at Naiwala, Veyangoda.
About the Role:
As a Web and Social Media Content Creator/Marketer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing content strategies across various digital platforms. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence online, driving engagement, and fostering meaningful connections with our target audience. From creating captivating blog posts and articles to crafting shareable social media content, you will have the creative freedom to shape our digital footprint and elevate our online visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies tailored to our target audience and brand objectives.
- Create high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for our website, blog, social media channels, and other digital platforms.
- Research industry trends, topics, and keywords to inform content ideation and optimization efforts.
- Respond to customer inquiries online and offline.
- Dispatch orders and participate in business development activities.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and iterate strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our content offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in web and social media content creation, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Exceptional English speaking, writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in storytelling.
- Skilled in Photography and Videography or is willing to learn.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools is preferred.
- An understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques would be considered a plus.
- Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and adapt to evolving trends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
