Senior Software Engineer - ReactJS
AIClub is a USA-based Education Technology company operating in the space of Artificial Intelligence. We are seeking an experienced Frontend Software Engineer based in Sri Lanka to join our rapidly growing team.
This individual will be directly responsible for designing, building and implementing user interface systems and other requirements for our platform and play a crucial role in creating visual elements and other user interaction systems. The ideal candidate will ensure a satisfactory user experience with no issues, errors, or downtime and have excellent troubleshooting skills. The candidate will serve as an intermediary bridging the gap between the user and the backend developers, and tweak tools and platforms to adapt to real-world use situations.
The ideal candidate will have opportunities to expand into full-stack development as well as the opportunity to improve skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of experience in functional component development using ReactJS
- Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, HTML and CSS
- Experience in React Hooks, Redux and Axios
- Experience in React Material UI
- Thorough experience in web application development and Cloud APIs is a plus
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Experience using Cloud Services (such as AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of UI/UX concepts and HCI
- Designing new requirements for our platform
- Troubleshooting platform defects and implementing
