Accountant / Senior Accountant
Minimum Knowledge/ Experience/Training/Qualifications Required for the Position
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Preparing Financial accounts monthly/quarterly forecast process, consolidating and reporting
- Effectively manage cash flows and supervise financial transactions within and outside of the company.
- Handle all tax matters and maintain accurate records with IRD and other statutory requirements on due dates.
- Prepare monthly, and weekly presentations to the management, board, and other forums. (MIS)
- Review job costing in order to review the margins of the Jobs.
- Monitoring and analyzing actual results against individual cost centers as well as the business sector.
- Review the standard operating procedures and implement best practices within the SBU.
- Interact with the teams and identify & support the process automation for a smoother operation.
- Handling External/Internal Audit
- Overlooking Outsourced Finance Functions/Review Monthly KPIs
- Preparation of Annual Budgets
Minimum Knowledge/ Experience/Training/Qualifications Required for the Position
- Full Professional Qualification from a recognized institute. (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar job grade, preferably in the Transportation & Logistics industry
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages
- Ability to work independently.
- Confident communication with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in ERP systems will be added advantage.
- Willingness to work extra hours.
