Manager – Finance & Accounting

Your Role & Responsibilities  
We are on the lookout for Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounting that is passionate, curious, and resilient, wanting to make a real impact in the BPO industry. As a part of Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounting Team, you should be ready to learn and work with Finance & Accounts. An DM will be focused on....

Key responsibilities would include :-
  • Leading a team and oversee their work
  • Be responsible for day-to-day activities and performance of the team members
  • Provide feedback on a regular basis and work with the TL, QA to build action plan, if required
  • Ensure performance results are in accordance with SLA's, key measures and the operating plans.
  • Oversee and manage performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborative with process manager, on-site liaison and service management team to improve procedures to deliver high quality services.
  • Identify, Develop & implement continuous improvement program to increase productivity, product knowledge, efficiency & reduce cost.
  • Monitor & evaluate the performance of the team in all areas, including positive recognition & rewards, addressing individual performance improvements and identifying training gaps or needs.
  • Assist team members to resolve problems and / or escalate issues to deliver integrated leadership if appropriate.
  • Advance reconciliation knowledge
  • Able to provide Coaching on next steps
  • Ability to handle escalations and maintain TAT on responses
  • Ability to perform RCAs for the problem in hand and resolve
  • Capable of putting controls in place to not to have same mistakes repeated
  • Good people management skills with ability to handle conflicts
  • Expert in Client handling and leading Client Interactions as per business requirements

Qualifications & Experience 
 
Minimum Requirements 
  • Minimum 10 Years of Accounting Background
  • Extensive end to end knowledge of P2P.
  • Hands on experience in AP end to end activities.
  • Establish and maintain of end to end AP process controls.
  • Good Accounting knowledge for AP month end close.
  • Strong experience and understanding on commonly used ERPs and workflow tools.
  • Hands on working experience on SAP.
  • Experience in managing a Vendor Helpdesk and resolving AP process discrepancies both with internal & external customers.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and advanced excel skills
  • Good Accounting Knowledge and Basic Journal Entries
  • Good Knowledge of Vendor Account Reconciliation and Month-end accruals
  • Onshore or Remote transition experience for at least 1 project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • working experience on MIS, should have sound knowledge of various AP related metrics
  • 4+ Years of team leading experience of minimum team size 15+ resources
  • Ability to drive Operational efficiency and Transformation across end to end process landscape.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view
  • Persuasive with details and facts.
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment 

Work Hours
  • 24/7 Rotational Shift (Starts from 7AM IST to 2AM IST).
  • Available to work overtime on evenings and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to work US and Local company holidays as business needs dictate.
