ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER - GALLE
We are a well reputed company having a business history of 75 years in Galle since 1948. We are looking for a results oriented assistant sales manager with excellent PR, Leadership and Customer relations skills.
- Responsible for handling the wholesale section of the supermarket.
- Implementing all company procedures and maintaining standards in the section
- Achieving the company sales target, Increasing Gross Profit and Net Profit
- Managing the wholesale section stock with product availability of top selling items and identifying slow moving items
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety of items sold to hotels and customers.
- Training and motivating staff and managing the section team.
Candidate Profile
- A diploma in Business Management or Professional Qualification in the relevant field from a reputed institute or professional body
- Should possess minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity with good sales knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Sinhala
- Should possess strong leadership skills and be enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude to lead all operational work effectively and efficiently.
- Be a team player with strong people management and leadership skills.
- Priority will be given to candidates who have experience in the same field.
