About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategy & Planning Lead to join the Uber Eats leadership team in Sri Lanka. In this critical role, you will develop a deep understanding of all three sides of the Uber Eats marketplace and work closely with the local, regional and global teams to deliver a compelling strategic narrative for Sri Lanka that is aligned with both our local and global priorities.
You will be accountable for delivering on our annual planning cycles as well as ensuring that ensuring the right governance framework is in place and executed on to support the Sri Lankan market deliver on its strategic priorities.
Our ideal candidate will bring a strong problem solving skill set to the role and has a high degree of comfort working with complex data sets to allow them to effectively partner with operations teams to shape our response to strategic priorities/risks.

The Impact You'll Have 
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Leadership team to develop and deliver a compelling strategic narrative for Uber Eats, Sri Lanka. 
  • Lead delivery of half yearly and annual planning cycles including providing top down guidance, leading planning workshops and supporting bottom up alignment activities. 
  • Act as a bridge between APAC Strategy & Planning and the Sri Lanka team to ensure there is alignment locally with regional/global priorities and programs as well as planning cadences. 
  • Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to execute on strategic priorities including go-to-market strategy for new businesses or products as needed. 
  • Own the weekly, monthly and quarterly governance and performance management processes to ensure the Sri Lanka delivery team remains focussed on delivering strategic priorities. 
  • Identify, evaluate and drive action to address opportunities/risks for the Sri Lanka delivery business 

The Experience You'll Bring 
  • Relevant experience in finance, strategy, consulting, investment banking or similar roles. 
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen as well as critical problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong project and change management experience. 
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence a range of stakeholders. 
  • Highly proficient in working with large data sets and modeling for financial and operational problem-solving. 
  • Comfortable navigating self serve BI tools / databases and proficient with using SQL a bonus 
  • MBA and/or relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized top university preferred
