Senior Money Broker
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Minimum G. C. E. Advance Level examination is a must.
- Certificate in money broking (IBSL), Diploma in Treasury and Management, ACI dealing certificate.
- MBA or any financial-related qualification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Experienced in the field of Finance Banking or broking is essential. (Minimum 5-7 years)
Knowledge
and Skills:
- A deep understanding of financial markets, investment products and trading strategies is essential.
- Senior money brokers should possess excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- They must also be detail-oriented and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Senior money brokers must adhere to strict regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
- Therefore, a strong understanding of financial regulations (Central Bank of Sri Lanka) and ethical practices is necessary to ensure legal and ethical conduct in all transactions.
Network and Relationship Building:
- Building and maintaining a network of clients is crucial for success in this role.
- Senior money brokers should have strong relationship-building skills to attract and retain clients and facilitate profitable transactions.
