THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess Minimum 10 - 12 years post qualified experience in similar capacity.
- Responsible to manage the legal work for the group of companies.
- Responsible to handle company secretarial related work.
- Follow up and draft agreements/ MOU's/attend to lease renewals and liaise with the management and external parties for the correspondences
- Appear at courts/relevant authorities and any legal forum on behalf of the company when its required
- Oversee and develop the legal team
- Maintain confidentiality of company documents at all times.
- Notary Public to practice in Colombo in English is essential. The license in Sinhala is an added advantage.
SKILLS
- Sound Knowledge of land/property law - review Deeds and any other related property work.
- Ability to review and draft commercial contracts
- Proactively respond to and manage deadlines and various tasks
- Capability to handle compliance and any other regulatory work
- Proficiency in Sinhala and English languages required
