Business Development Manager
The successful candidate is required to secure new business opportunities that are aligned with the organizations preferred client profile and to achieve all revenue targets as outlined in the Sales Contracts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and build a Sustainable Sales Pipeline
- Manage all opportunities, Accounts and Productivity on Dynamics our prescribed CRM system
- Manage an effective Diary
- Build strategic relationships at multiple levels within their client base
- Focus on Consultative Selling to strengthen our position from a supply chain perspective Focus on Cross silo opportunities
Special Skills
- Influencing skills in order to focus the sales activities from several stakeholders
- Ability to organize, including prioritizing, planning, assigning and controlling objectives
- Strong financial and business awareness, Analytical Skills
- Ability to read and conceptualize financial plans for the route & identify business opportunities and set respective route development strategy
- Good ability to communicate and network with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Result oriented and places great emphasis on customer focus
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a logistics, supply chain environment with a good understanding of Freight Forwarding
- A Diploma or a Professional qualification in Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, SCM -Supply Chain management or an equivalent
