Transition Manager | Colombo 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • Any Graduate. Preferably Masters / MBA with appropriate professional qualifications / experience in leading and driving Transition and Program Management.

EXPERIENCE
  • 9 - 11 years of which minimum 5 years of experience in Transition BPO/Shared services experience would be an added advantage [preferably Order to Cash (OTC) domain].

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Transition Manager is expected to effectively transition or migrate the process / function and provide support to the service delivery teams. He / She will be responsible to plan, project-manage and drive the implementation of multiple medium- to large-scale process transitions or migrations or any internal projects. He / She should own SLAs and KPIs till the completion of the transition or migration of the process. He will have to ensure adherence to the transition framework for project planning, execution, and delivery.

Transition Manager will be an active member of the Order to Cash (OTC) Transition team, reporting to the Sr.Manager / Associate General Manager Transitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • He/she will be part of Order to Cash (OTC) function and will be interacting with various functions within Business and stakeholder leadership teams.
  • Responsible for successfully executing the transition and processes are transitioned as per agreed SLAs.
  • Ability to independently lead transition projects with a focus on on-time completion with minimal post-go-live issues.
  • Responsible to conduct/attend periodic meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status and performance and monitor closely to close out open issues.
  • Implement best practices for transition planning and Transition Management and co-ordinate the management of milestones, actions, issues, risks, and decisions of the transition activities.
  • Oversee stabilization period quality measures to ensure projects are not closed until these are met.
  • Manage interdependencies and escalate in case of delays in timeline or budgets.
  • Review the outcomes of each Transition and apply lessons learned to ongoing and future projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Significant and proven experience leading multi-function, multi-locational transition programs.
  • Strong Analytical & Numerical skills and a deep understanding of how Order to Cash function works.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong project management and documentation skills
  • Strong presentation skills - should be able to create and present effectively
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • PMP, PRINCE2 certification desirable
  • Experience in Project Management Tools
