Lead Analyst  – Finance & Accounting

Sri Lanka / Work From Office / BPO / Full-Time / Rotational Shift

Your Role & Responsibilities  
 
We are on the lookout for Lead Analyst – Finance & Accounting that is passionate, curious, and resilient,  wanting to make a real impact in the BPO industry. As a part of Lead Analyst – Finance & Accounting Team, you should be ready to learn and work with Finance & Accounts. An Analyst will be focused on....  

Key responsibilities would include :- 
  • Responsible to carry out Accounts Payables related activities for oil and Gas industry e.g. Indexing, invoice processing, vendor master management, Payment run, Claim processing and Audit.
  • Performing intercompany activities. e.g. Processing intercompany invoices, Reconciliations, netting, payments etc.
  • Supporting control testing and ensuring all controls are working fine and there is no deviation
  • Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring successful audit
  • Working with internal and external stakeholder to that the open issues resolved.
  • Supporting transformation initiatives and helping the team to achieve transformation goals
  • Resolve AP process discrepancies. Research and respond to inquiries and resolve problems related to payment processes.
  • Responsible for Continuous Process Improvements
  • Implement effective Internal Controls and Compliances with respect to all Financial Transactions
  • Produce performance reports like Dashboards and Weekly SLA reports for HCL Management
  • Make Recommendations to efficiently  enhance processes, oversee & manage performance and service quality, guarantee customer satisfaction while meeting overall SLA and KPI. 
  • Manage escalation issues and lead Monthly and Quarterly performance reviews with client.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills
  • Participation on Global / Regional / Local Projects under Payabless scope such as migrations, divestments, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), processes changes and respective Management of Change (MoC).

Qualifications & Experience 
 
Minimum Requirements 
  • Minimum 5Years of Accounting Background
  • Working experience in Accounts Payables activities e.g. indexing, invoice processing, troubleshooting, vendor Master management and payments etc.
  • Resolve AP process and invoicing discrepancies.
  • Interact with internal and external customers/vendors to resolve queries and disputes.
  • Working experience in quality assurance activities
  • Working experience in GR/IR reporting
  • Working experience in commonly used accounts Payables workflow
  • Understanding of process controls
  • Working experience in SAP
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Good  Accounting Knowledge and Basic Journal Entries
  • Good Knowledge of Vendor Account Reconciliation
  • Excellent team player and good judgmental skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience on VIM will be preferred
  • Excellent cognitive and analytical skills with eye in details while managing conflicting priorities.
  • Well demonstrated leadership skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Willing to work across sub processes on need basis
  • Working experience in logistic industry e.g. managing inbound and outbound freight, PODs, damages, working with Transportation manager, load manager, logistic manager regarding logistic and transport related expense 
  • Working experience in Oil and Gas, Supply Chain Operations (Rail, Trucks, Marine) or Heavy Industries will be preferred

  • Fluent in English, both written & verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view
  • Persuasive with details and facts.
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment

Work Hours”
  • 24/7 Rotational Shift (Starts from 7AM IST to 2AM IST). 
  • Available to work overtime on evenings and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to work US and Local company holidays as business needs dictate.
