Career Counselor and Student Enrollment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team in the combined role of Career Counselor and Student Enrollment Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Career Counseling:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to assess their interests, skills, values, and career goals.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in exploring career options, educational pathways, and professional development opportunities.
- Help clients identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth, and develop action plans to achieve their career objectives.
- Assist clients in developing resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies, and provide interview preparation assistance.
- Offer guidance and support to clients experiencing career transitions, including job loss, career change, or re-entering the workforce.
Student Enrollment:
- Promote and market our training programs, courses, and educational offerings to prospective students through various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and community outreach.
- Conduct informational sessions, webinars, and presentations to attract and engage prospective students and provide them with detailed information about our programs.
- Assist prospective students in the enrollment process, including completing applications, gathering required documents, and facilitating financial aid or scholarship applications.
- Follow up with leads and inquiries, answer questions, and address concerns to help prospective students make informed decisions about their education and career goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student enrollment data, communication logs, and follow-up activities using CRM software or other tracking systems.
Advising and Support:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for enrolled students, providing ongoing advising, support, and guidance throughout their educational journey.
- Monitor students' progress, academic performance, and attendance, and intervene as needed to address challenges and ensure student success.
- Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty members, and other staff to provide holistic support services to students, including academic advising, career coaching, and personal counseling.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Business, or a related field (but not limited).
- Previous experience in career counseling, student advising, enrollment management, or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present information and engage audiences.
- Knowledge of career development theories, counseling techniques, and educational pathways.
- Experience in marketing, sales, or recruitment, with a focus on education or training programs.
- Familiarity with CRM software, student information systems, and other enrollment management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
