Sales Executive - Logistics
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management/Logistics or related field of study.
- Minimum three (3) years' Business to Business (B2B) experience selling services in freight forwarding/ logistics
- At least (1) year experience closing sales at executive level or sales account management
- Self-motivator / aggressive / ambitious individual with a Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer
- Engagement to closed sales.
- Negotiating competitive rates with suppliers; when vital with air/ocean liners
- Provide forecasts on best-case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
- Give sales presentations, submit opportunities, and submit activity and results reports to leadership.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets with regular client follow-ups
- Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company.
- Support customer service and work closely with operations and documentation on the execution of customer service contracts and bookings
- Schedule and regularly communicate freight rates and related information to new and existing customer base
- Maintain a pre-determined number of target accounts and demonstrates active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing
