Vacancy for Safety Officer
Job Profile
- Competent to prevent/ minimize accidents in construction environment.
- Ability to maintain safety related documents and conduct presentations in professional manner.
- Implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all relevant EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments on all processes and implement actions to reduce or eliminate risks.
- Coordinate and facilitate mandatory EHS trainings and EHS induction training for all contractors, staff and visitors.
- Conduct safety inspections in professional manner.
- Represent the company in Health & Safety connected matters.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and work extended hours when needed.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Construction safety and Occupational health & safety from IOSH/NIOSH/ NEBOSH/CIDA or any other recognized institute.
- More than 08 years' experience including minimum 05 years' experience in construction projects of high-rise buildings.
- Excellent Communication skills in English both oral and written form.
- Should possess the good public relations skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Age below 45 years.
- Dynamic individual with good interpersonal skills & good team player with proactive outlook
