Sales & Business Development Executive
Currently we are looking out for a young and energetic individual for the position of Sales and Business Development Executive to be based in our Colombo office and work with our local customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base in the industrial chemicals and raw materials sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our supply chain solutions.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to formulate effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Product Knowledge: Not necessary to have a deep understanding of the industrial chemicals and raw materials we specialize in, providing expert advice to clients and addressing their specific requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless and efficient supply chain operations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales and marketing reports, analyze key performance indicators, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree /Diploma/ Full or Part professional qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience in sales and marketing, preferably B2B. Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes is a plus.
