We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Health & Safety to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
As the Manager, Health & Safety, you will report to the Director, Culinary, where your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a secure and compliant environment for our guests and colleagues. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health and safety within our hotel while maintaining impeccable standards of health and safety.
You will develop and implement safety policies whilst leading the formulation and implementation of emergency response plans and risk assessments to safeguard against potential hazards. You will conduct regular training and educational programs for your team to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold safety standards. As the Manager, Health & Safety, you will also oversee regulatory compliance, safety equipment maintenance, and incident management. Furthermore, in this role, you will proactively organise drills for staff to prepare them for emergencies.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a BA/ BSc Degree in Safety Management or a similar educational qualification. Having a professional qualification in health & safety management will also be an added advantage.
