Position Summary:
To actively educate Health Care Professionals (HCPs) on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of life and the continuation of it for as long as possible after the introduction of complementary feeding.
When breastfeeding is not possible – to provide accurate and scientific information to HCPs based on expressed needs, about Nestlé’s
Infant Nutrition Products and services: their fact-based features, advantages, benefits, and their appropriate use within the WHO- Code on BMS, Nestlé policies and instructions, and local legislation. To provide accurate and factual information regarding the risks linked to the use of inappropriate breastmilk substitutes.
A day in the life of the role:
- Active recommendation to HCPs of Nestlé’s Infant Nutrition Products and services where and when appropriate and when exclusive breastfeeding is not possible. Be the recognized trusted Infant Nutrition Solution Provider and partner to HCPs.
- Develop long-term mutually beneficial professional relationships with HCPs and relevant medical decision makers.
- Optimum territory coverage and management including gathering of insights and sharing them through relevant tools/ systems like the MFF CRM.
- Ensure quality service to HCPs through proper monitoring of product availability, visibility, freshness and pricing withing the territory via Networking with Sales Colleagues/Distributors/Trade.
- Planning, implementation and Execution of agreed territory action plan within the allocated budget.
What will make you successful?
- Education: A degree, diploma, or Advanced Level qualification in Bio Science or equivalent
- Expected experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Language skills: Looking for candidates fluent in English & Sinhala. Fluency in Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Other skills: High level of integrity, learning agility, superior communication skills, numerical ability and numerical reasoning, emotional intelligence and problem-solving skill
- Mandatory requirement: Should have a valid Driving License
