Travel Executive
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Travel Agency/Airline.
- Thorough knowledge of GDS (Sabre/Galileo/Amadeus).
- Good command in English.
- Living close to Colombo.
- Willing to work on shift and roster basis.
Job Description
- Providing administrative support, including answering phones and greeting passengers.
- Booking travel reservations for the client and managing their itinerary
- Serving as a liaison between the client and travel company, handling issues that arise during travel
- Updating the client's contact list with names, phone numbers, and email addresses of all individuals who will be part of the trip
- Arranging for transfers between airports, hotels, cruise ships, etc.
- Resolving complaints made by the client or staff members of the travel company
- Using a GDS/booking system to secure flights and holidays Collecting and processing payments
- Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas and passports
- Sending out tickets to clients
- Keeping clients up to date with any changes Dealing with complaints
