Data Analyst - Fintech Consumer Business
Responsible for importing, processing, analyzing, modeling, visualizing and presenting data to identify future opportunities and improvements. This role involves delivering analytics, dashboards, and reports for strategic decision-making and managing operational data requests from relevant Business Units. This includes systematic data gathering and appraising relevant data from various data sources. The individual will mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganize it into a format easily readable by both humans and machines.
The Job
- Work with business units to identify opportunities by leveraging organization's data to drive business.
- Responsible for carrying out data analytics, visualization, concept development.
- Present findings & actionable intelligence to stakeholders & Senior Management.
- Attend ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Design and develop data integration from internal & external sources on top of big data / data warehouse environment.
- Work in cross functional teams (internal & external) to develop use cases.
- Deploy viable use case on production environment with collaboration from IT/Business teams.
- Define & setup performance tracking metrices.
- Monitor outcome and optimize models / business process with stakeholders.
- Research industry best practices and work with internal/external parties on R&D tasks.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on new technologies/best practices.
The Person
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst Associate / Trainee preferably in the banking/finance/FMCG industry
- Hands-on exposure on Tableau analytical tool.
- Should possess bachelor's qualification in Data Science or Analytics.
- Thorough understanding of conceptualizing the business needs into data driven models.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Should be an exceptional team player to work with multiple business teams and internal/external stakeholders.
