Head Chef (Central Bakery - Piliyandala)
Role Description
This Role would be primary responsible for managing the daily operations of Central Bakery - Piliyandala with high-volume food production and quality control in order to achieve the goals and objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising daily kitchen operations including opening, closing, inventory and ordering.
- Designing, developing and maintaining new menus and reviewing, approving the menu price.
- Overseeing the overall quality of the food service and bakery facility.
- Maintaining established food cost, quality, and service goals.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all health, safety, sanitation, and food sanitation codes and standards.
- Evaluating vendors and suppliers and negotiate the contracts.
- Developing and implementing new kitchen procedures.
- Providing supervision of all kitchen staff including hiring, training, and disciplining.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Food & Beverage / Bakery from a University or Professional institute.
- Minimum 05 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of creating balanced menus.
- Should be a strong and Influential personality with excellent operational acumen.
- Ability to perform in a highly volatile and dynamic work environments.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Age should be below 40 years.
