JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overall operational activities of the manufacturing and finishing processes of the company and will have to primarily ensure that production is as planned and in accordance with relevant quality standards, cost structures, optimum utilization of human resources, materials & machinery to achieve targets, on time delivery, increasing employee morale and ensure a high level of efficiency and effectiveness in all production departments.
JOB PROFILE
- Manage and monitor the overall performance of the manufacturing production of the company to increase efficiency and maximize performance and profit. Plan to utilize production capacities in the plant and equipment effectively and efficiently, and communicate the production plan to the Heads of the functional areas with execution strategies.
- Analyze and review customer confirmation; verifying raw material in-house cates and reviewing product types and other relevant specifications; preparing capacity plans and other production functional plans whilst making certain that the a ailable resources are in their practical and optimum utility so as to facilitate a trouble free production.
- Manage floor operations and employees by establishing performance goals, allocating resources, assessing the performance and sound staff administration practices.
- Takes regular actions to ensure the smooth production processes are carried out in conformity to the approved quality plan and Standard Operations Instructions while promoting continual output improvement and culture of the innovation, excellence and accountability.
- Ensure the overall equipment efficiency to increase the output of production. Ensure regulatory guidelines under FSSC 22000 & BRC Food Safety Systems, QMS documentation and safe working practice by adhering to the Safety Instructions.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- B. Sc. Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering from a recognized University.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment including a minimum of 5 years' in a similar capacity in in high-tech manufacturing industry. Hands on working experience in packaging industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000 & BRC Food Safety Systems, QMS documentation & related procedure and Lean manufacturing methodologies & TPM Techniques will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent Interpersonal, Communication, Leadership & Analytical skills.
- Skills on coaching and performance management of the staff at all levels are required.
- Age level between 40-50 years.
