SOUS CHEF STEAKHOUSE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef - Steakhouse to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. You will report to the Chef de Cuisine, Steakhouse, and assume a key position in orchestrating the symphony of flavours that defines our renowned steakhouse's reputation. Your culinary canvas will consist of the finest cuts of meat and your creative palette will blend seamlessly with precision. In this role, you will not only contribute significantly to our steakhouse's gastronomic legacy but also redefine the very art of steakhouse cuisine, where every dish craft will be a masterpiece and each meal an indelible celebration of culinary mastervery you

You will actively contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring a delightful fusion of innovation and culinary expertise that resonates with customer preferences and highlights seasonal ingredients. You will be entrusted with comprehensive oversight of food preparation, maintaining unwavering standards of quality and presentation. Youwill play a pivotal role in staff supervision and training, providing constructive feedback to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Demonstrating a keen eye for cost control measures, you will adeptly minimize wastage and optimize portion sizes. Your responsibilities will extend to meticulous inventory management, ensuring precision and strict adherence to hygiene and health regulations. Active engagement with our guests and VIP guests to solicit feedback will be integral to this role, ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience. In your role, you will demonstrate flexibility and expertise in coordinating special events while being adept at hanling unforeseen emergencies.
