Intern - Technical Product Design

The Makers Global is seeking an "Intern - Technical Product Design" to join our team for a 1-year internship. You will be responsible for learning Autodesk Fusion 360 and Tinkercad software and applying that knowledge in product prototyping. You will also get hands-on experience operating laser-cutting machines and coordinate with manufacturers/service providers to ensure product production.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply Autodesk Fusion 360 and Tinkercad software for product prototyping
- Operate laser cutting machines and other prototyping equipment
- Coordinate with manufacturers/service providers to ensure timely production
- Participate in the product prototyping and production process
- Assist with product design and development
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the success of the project
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an engineering program or have a degree in engineering
- Passion for product design, prototyping, and production
- Willingness to learn new software and tools
- Knowledge of electrical and electronics is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to change
