Cost Controller - Food & Beverage

Role Description
The Cost Controller - F&B is entrusted with overseeing inventory management, cost analysis, and pricing strategies etc. This position works closely with the Operations Manager, executive chef to ensure that the menu items are priced correctly and that food and beverage costs are in line with budget expectations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Controlling the bakery related wastage and improve efficiency.
- Preparing variance analysis of inventories and communicate with relevant parties.
- Researching to find opportunities to reduce expenses and communicate the measures to be taken.
- Monitoring and visiting the outlets to assess bakery related wastages and efficiencies.
- Performing market surveys on competitor prices and raw material purchase prices.
- Preparing daily reports related to bakery operations.
- Conducting surprise spot checks at all bakery outlets.
- Performing product costing as and when required.
- Uploading BOMs to all outlets and periodically checking BOMs against actual preparations.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or Part qualification of CA, CMA or full qualification of AAT.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in the field.
- Candidate should be result oriented with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skill in both English & Sinhala.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet the deadlines.
- Age should be below 30 years.
