PASTRY CHEF
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
In your role as the Pastry Chef, you will report to the Executive Pastry Chef, playing a key leadership role in defining the pastry offerings of our esteemed hotel. This position demands not only exceptional technical skills but also a keen eye for innovation and creativity. Your profound passion for crafting exquisite desserts will elevate our pastry offerings to unparalleled heights, ensuring a delightful and memorable experience for our discerning guests.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our Executive Pastry Chef, contributing to the overall success of our pastry operation. Your diverse responsibilities span the daily operations and support for each outlet, with a steadfast focus on ensuring unparalleled service and unwavering guest satisfaction. Leading by example, your hands-on approach will inspire and guide our talented Pastry team to deliver exceptional standards and quality consistently. Collaborating closely with the Director, Food & Beverage, you will contribute to planning enticing food promotions that not only elevate our outlets but also exceed the expectations of our esteemed guests, creating an experience that transcends the ordinary. Swiftly addressing guest concerns and interacting with VIP guests will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience.
Your strategic acumen will come to the forefront as you adeptly prepare periodic budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure plans for the department. With a vigilant focus on revenue trends and reservation projections, you will swiftly implement corrective measures whenever necessary, showcasing your unwavering commitment to operational excellence. You will meticulously ensure compliance with all relevant standards and navigate brand audits seamlessly to uphold our esteemed reputation. Your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues will stand as the hallmark of your contribution to our distinguished luxury hotel setting.
