Manager - Event Operations
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Events Operations to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
You will report to the Director of Event Operations, where your role will involve orchestrating unforgettable experiences at the heart of luxury. As the curator of seamless operations, you will manage all event intricacies, ensuring a symphony of perfection from concept to execution. Taking charge of the daily Banquet operations at Cinnamon Life, your expertise will serve as the driving force behind crafting enchanting moments that resonate in the hearts of our esteemed guests.
In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with overseeing the daily management, administration, and operations of all Events and Banquet spaces. Your multifaceted responsibilities encompass not only meeting and greeting event hosts but also meticulously reviewing event details and adeptly accommodating any last-minute requests. As the Manager, Events
Operations, you will develop, plan and ensure the implementation of service standards in the Events and Banquets Division. A critical facet of your role is to ensure the flawless execution of all Banquet setups. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the financial management of the department by actively contributing to the preparation of periodic budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures. Your unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction will be evident through your prompt responses to guest concerns, and you will enjoy the privilege of personally meeting VIP guests to elevate their overall experience. The cultivation of robust and productive relationships, both within the organization and externally, will be intrinsic to your success in this dynamic position.
