Senior Executive - Receivables (IR Operation)
Dimension of the role:
- Manage and drive the IR finance function as a support service to achieve organizational goals.
- To that he/she should be a task-oriented, committed person to achieve deadlines.
- Optimizing Cash Flow.
- Be a leader, colleague to fellow staff to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Maintain precise records of all incoming payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients.
- Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile any irregularities in receipts and ensure collections as per credit period and credit limits.
- Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances.
- Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed.
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments.
- Assisting Manager Finance is Tax related matters.
- Maintaining FA Register & Depreciation
- FA Tagging.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Management, B.com, Be a final level student or passed finalist of CA Sri Lanka or ACMA (UK) or CMA(SL)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sector having exposure in FMCG/Retail will be added value,
- Working knowledge in both oral and written to compliment the effectiveness of the job role.
- Technically sound on LKRS/SLFRS, Taxes,
- Good in analyzing the numbers (Cost & Management Accounting)
- Team Player, Motivator.
- Commitment to honor agreed deadlines
- Ability to work through numerous and varied decisions taken under pressure to meet deadlines.
