Head of Operations - Automobile Workshop
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall operation of the Automobile Workshop (Over 500 vehicle repairs per month including Mechanical and Bodyshop)
- Responsible for achieving workshop targets within the given timeline and expected quality for highest level of customer Satisfaction.
- Utilize optimal management and engineering methodologies to enhance workshop operations, targeting for increased productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining highest safety standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Lead and manage a team effectively, ensuring smooth operations and high performance.
Key Requirements
- Sound knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- A degree in Automotive Engineering or HNDE/ NDES/ NDT qualification.
- Minimum 07 years of industrial experience in similar capacity.
- Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling multi brand workshop operations (Experience with heavy and commercial vehicle will be an added advantage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
